Our own little corner of HTMHell
Each December, Web developers around the world gather around the devilishly-named HTMHell Advent Calendar to uncover 24 great articles, tips, and tricks about security, accessibility, user experience, and performance on the Web.
This year, our Lead Front End Developer at silverorange, Maureen Holland, has contributed article 16 to the 2024 HTMHell Advent Calendar, titled “You don’t need the isOpen class”. Maureen’s article addresses how the aria-expanded HTML attribute can be used to associate styling to the accessible state of your interface element.
It’s great to see Maureen’s expertise on display in the great company of writers like John Allsopp, Léonie Watson, and many others.
